We put the highest value on freshness and flavor, and protect it from our meticulous preparation process, all the way through to careful packaging and speedy delivery. Please see the following information on how your order can be shipped.

 

SHIPPING METHODS

  • Your HB Butcher Shop order is shipped “driver release” and requires no signature upon delivery. The package can be left in front of any outside door—please notify recipients to expect the delivery of a perishable gift.
  • Shipping charges apply separately for each name and respective address.
  • All perishable items are shipped via UPS Ground, 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, or Overnight delivery.
  • All non-perishable items (including seasonings and gift certificates) are shipped by regular mail.

SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we can only ship to physical street addresses and cannot ship to:
  • P.O. Boxes
  • APO/FPO Addresses
  • Canada
  • Puerto Rico

We are not able to provide weekend delivery.   
We are not responsible for failed delivery attempts at gated residence without an office or place to leave your order if we can not gain access to your property.

 

 

INCORRECT ADDRESSES

  • Please double check all shipping addresses. HB Butcher Shop cannot be held responsible for damage due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information.
  • Orders returned to us because of an incorrect address that you provide can be reshipped to the correct address with additional shipping charges. However, because of the perishable nature of our products, we cannot repackage and ship the returned item—you will be responsible for the cost of the new product.

 

 

ARRIVAL

  • Your HB Butcher Shop order is vacuum-sealed and frozen in airtight Cryovac packages, and shipped in a Styrofoam cooler with dry ice for safe delivery.
  • If your order arrives slightly thawed, do not be alarmed. As long as your steaks are cool to the touch, their quality is not diminished. They can be refrigerated or refrozen until prepared, or placed in your refrigerator to continue thawing.
  • If your steaks arrive completely thawed and warm to the touch, please contact our Customer Service.
  • Your order is shipped packed with dry ice, which may still be present upon arrival. Handle any remaining dry ice with care. DO NOT TOUCH WITH BARE SKIN AND KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN.

 

 

STORAGE AND HANDLING

  • Directly place your HB Butcher Shop order, in its original Cyrovac packaging, into your freezer for future preparation or into your refrigerator to thaw for preparation within one week.
  • When freezing, your freezer temperature should be 0° F or lower. For maximum flavor and freshness, beef should be used within six to eight months, and pork should be used within two to three months.
  • When refrigerating, keep your HB Butcher Shop order in its original packaging. Remove it from the refrigerator and packaging 30 minutes before preparing to allow the meat to reach room temperature.
  • Product should not be kept in the refrigerator for more than 7 days after defrosting
